Associate member, Maryland Association of the Judges of the Orphans' Courts. Vice-President, Independent Hose Company of Frederick. Member, Kiwanis Club of Frederick. Member, Evangelical Luthern Church, Frederick, Maryland. Married; two children. Died in Atlantic City, New Jersey, April 17, 2012.
