Member, Maryland Veterinary Medical Association, 1980-; Cecil College Foundation, 2007- (chair, fund management committee; co-chair, financial committee); Executive Committee, Clean Chesapeake Coalition, 2012-. Member, Maryland Association of Counties; Civil War Preservation Trust; Lincoln Forum. Former member, Board of Directors, Cecil County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; Bohemia Bay Yacht Club.
