BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS

The Board of Electrical Examiners licenses electrical contractors operating in the County. With approval of the County Council, the Board sets examination and licensing fees under the electrical code.

Appointed by the County Council to four-year terms, five members comprise the Board. The Chair is elected by the Board (County Code, secs. 56-1 through 56-20).


BOARD OF LIQUOR LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

The Board of Liquor License Commissioners regulates the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in Talbot County (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-112; County Code, secs. 11-1 through 11-20).

In Talbot County, the Board's three members are appointed by the Governor to six-year terms (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-101).
