DEPARTMENT OF PARKS & RECREATION

The Department of Parks and Recreation is headed by the Director of Parks and Recreation. Appointed by the County Executive, the Director maintains the equipment and facilities used in the County's recreation program, and in scheduling and operating programs established by the County and adopted by the Board of Parks and Recreation (Code Local Government Article, secs. 1-601 through 1-611; County Code, secs. 261-1 through 261-6).
