Former teacher (social studies), Cardinal Gibbons High School, Baltimore. Law clerk to John N. Maguire, Baltimore County Circuit Court, 1974-76. University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., with honors, 1976. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1976. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Carroll County Bar Association, 1979- (treasurer, 1987; president-elect, 1994; president, 1995); Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Maryland Association for Justice (formerly Maryland Trial Lawyers Association). Former president, Hollman, Hughes, Maguire, Timchula & Titus.
